Every fall local school children took field trips here to watch the process and to sample the sweet, delectable juice. Recently the mill was meticulously disasembled and moved to Richmond, Virginia where it is now operated privately. |

![]() #111 The Old Sheldon Church The Old Sheldon Church, located in Sheldon, SC, was originally built between 1740 & 1750. It had it's first service in 1757. During the Revolutionary War it was set on fire and then rebuilt in 1826. Once again, in 1865, the church was burned by Sherman's troops. It was never repaired but to this day the walls remain standing. |

#113 After the SnowThis little building was once a cider mill and was the stopping place for the youth of the old order Mennonite Church on their way home from a wagon trip to the mountains for a day in Autumn.They would have cider and snacks and play games. They no longer stop at this building but the horse-drawn day trip to the mountain is still a tradition and is carried on today. It is located on Honey Run Road in Rockingham County, Virginia. |
